Telehealth Services
Offering flexible care options for clients of all ages has increased access to mental health services and supported continuity of care for those already working with us. Many individuals and families appreciate the choice between receiving therapy from home or visiting our office, as it allows care to fit seamlessly into their lives. While in-person sessions can be especially beneficial for young children (and are available), we have also thoughtfully adapted play-based and developmentally appropriate techniques for Teletherapy. This ensures that remote sessions remain engaging, effective, and supportive for children, teens, and adults alike—making virtual care a valuable and accessible option for families.
How Teletherapy Works?
Teletherapy sessions are held at a mutually convenient time, where you connect with your provider or therapist through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform such as Zoom or Google Meet. During the session, you and your clinician can see and hear one another in real time, allowing for meaningful interaction similar to an in-person appointment. Your provider uses the same therapeutic approaches, tools, and supportive techniques they would in the office offering compassionate, flexible effective care wherever you are.
Teletherapy offers several benefits compared to traditional therapy, making it a great option if:
- You have health concerns, especially during situations like the COVID-19 pandemic.
- You dislike dealing with traffic.
- Your job involves frequent travel, making it hard to commit to in-office appointments.
- Your busy schedule with work, family, and social commitments makes it easier to avoid the commute to a therapist’s office.
- You already work from home and find it more convenient to do therapy from the same environment.
- You have health issues that make it difficult or impossible to travel to a therapy session.
- You care for a loved one who cannot be left alone while you attend therapy in person.
