We are a Tele Health Psychiatric practice that provides a safe place to discuss treatment options that offer flexibility and privacy. In person options are also available by request. Our Mission is to strengthen mental health support systems as a long-term strategy for improving our patients mental health and overall wellness.

TeleHealth Practice
Telehealth is an easy to use, HIPPA compliant way to receive quality medical care virtually in the comfort of your own environment. With Telehealth, you use video conferencing so that you have a face-to-face meeting with your provider-like you are sitting together in person.
The process is simple. After you book an appointment, you will receive an invite with a link to complete your registration paperwork. When you complete the registration paperwork, your appointment at that time will be validated. Please be sure to complete the entire New Patient Intake packet 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid your appointment from being cancelled.
Your registration paperwork is where you will complete information medical history, current symptoms, medications, allergies, and ID cards prior to your telehealth visit with your provider. Telehealth providers manage medication and send prescriptions electronically to your preferred provider.

Mental Health Services
Mental Health Diagnosis
Consultations are available upon request to see if your mental health needs align with the provider's care approach aligns with your metal health goals. Treatment begins with an initial diagnostic evaluation to review your child, adolescent, and young adult present and past physical and mental health concerns. Prior to your appointment, you will receive email link to complete all required forms 48 hours before your appointment.
Time: 1-1.5 hours
Medication Management & Follow Up
Follow up visits will be required to discuss your progress. If necessary, we will discuss the need for medication adjustments and any other treatment modalities to ensure that you are receiving optimal care while building a therapeutic relationship. Lab and other diagnostic resources may be utilized to rule out medical diagnoses.
Time: 30-60 minutes
Individual & Group Psychotherapy
At times, Evidence Based therapeutic services to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan. At times, therapeutic services may be the only treatment modality needed for your treatment plan. We offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution, and Mindfulness Therapeutic Techniques.
Time: 30-60 minutes
Wellness Coordination Services
Complex Case Managemnet
Complex Case Management is a component of primary care that contributes to overall wellness that includes a component for social determinants limiting successful care treatment goals. Patients must have two (2) or more chronic conditions that are expected to last for 12 months or longer.
Mental Health Integration
A 6 month integrative care support model. and collaborative approach to wellness. Most Insurance plans cover BHI SERVICES. Please check with your insurance plan.
Wellness Coaching
Wellness Coaching may be helpful for Motivation, Focus, Structure, Partnership, or Support goals to optimize overall wellness goals and improve overall health. This service is not covered by insurance.
Meet Our Provider
Tamara B. Pottillo, MSN APRN, PMHNP-BC CCM
Tamara B. Pottillo, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a skilled psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at Release and Renew Mental Wellness in Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland. Tamara has over 20+ years of health care experience ranging from health care practice management, emergency medicine, psychiatric nursing, pediatrics, and maternal health. Tamara clinical career has placed here in numerous settings from inpatient to outpatient. Her unique integration of skills provide full integrative care to her clients and their family structures within their community settings. She has experience treating child mental health disorders and specializes in mood disorders, anxiety, and PTSD of adolescents and adults up to the age of 60.
Tamara also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Black Girls in Medicine. Case Management Consultant for Johns Hopkins, and Private Health Care Practice Consultant.

Autumn J.
Office Manager
Hello, My name is Autumn. I have been involved in Health Care for over 5 years. My role is to increase access to healthy food, sleep, and physical activity. I work with your entire health care team to help coordinate the needs of your child and the family unit. I am also a Certified Medicine Technician and Certified Community Health Worker. Autumn also is our lead medical biller and handles all complex office issues.
Maria M.
Office Admin
Maria has worked within the BCC, Health and Wellness center since 2019. Maria M. brings many organizational and managerial talents to her role as an office coordinator. She is also responsible for scheduling all appointments and handling prior authorizations, and billing issues at our office. Maria transitioned as a virtual Office Coordinator in May 2022 with Release and Renew and is excited about her new role with us.
APPOINTMENT POLICY
Appointment notification reminders are sent via text, voice, and/or email appointment reminders.
Release and Renew Mental Wellness LLC only allows (3) no- shows in a 12-month period before a patient is dismissed from the practice.
Cancellations and rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours of notice will be subject to a $50.00 no show/cancellation fee.
If your 15 minute grace period has lapsed, you may lose some of your allotted appointment time. Remember the Online Telehealth Link is available for waiting room access 15 minutes prior to your appointment,

Prescription Refills
If you are prescribed medication, you will be provided with enough medication to cover you until your next scheduled appointment.
If a refill is required due to the patients or guardian failure to book a timely appointment or to keep an appointment, a charge will incur for this service.
Please allow 48 business hours to process your refill request.
Some refills are contingent on required labs. If you have any questions regarding to lab orders, please message us through the patient portal or call the office at (410)376-8728.
Credit Card Policy
We require that you provide us with a valid credit card number to keep on file. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.
Patients must complete and sign the Credit Card Authorization Form which authorizes Release and Renew Mental Wellness Center, LLC. to charge the credit card for balances due: including copayments, deductibles, missed appointment fees and no-show fees.

Medical Record & Form Requests
To request Medical Records please email us a request at info@releaserenewmentalwellness.com or fax request to us at 410-862-3774. Please allow 10-14 business days upon receipt of your request. If you have any questions regarding a request, please call us at 410-376-8728.
Please allow 7 to 14 business days for the information to be sent/mailed at $45.00 per request.
Medical records cannot be picked up at the office.
*Expedited fees will apply – please allow 2 – 5 business days • urgent forms: $25 in addition to the service fee • urgent letters: $50 in addition to the service fee.
Forms must be presented at the time of your appointment and will be completed within 5-7 business days.
Forms will only be completed for established patients of 6 months.
